Senior Java Developer

Primary Responsibilities

  • Develop application, services and business logic in Java springboot, and support Java code
  • Integrate with existing security protocols and SQL/NOSQL database integration
  • Interact with project management, business and infrastructure teams

Knowledge and Skill Requirements

  • Strong Java with 5+ years experience, BS degree
  • Strong software development knowledge, OOPS skills
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
  • Strong analytical ability
  • Good knowledge of UI, middle tier and database technologies

Preferred Knowledge and Skills

  • Working knowledge of React, Elastic Search API, JDBC/ODBC, Oracle and MySQL
  • Familiarity with UI design in HTML5, JavaScript, JSON and Angular/React Linux shell scripts
  • Familiarity with application security

Ability to work from the company’s New York City office is preferred (although the company is currently operating virtually during the pandemic); remote work will be considered for the right candidate.
